Seiko Spare Part – Winding Stem for Seiko World Time (Cal. 6217A, Ref. 6217‑7000/7010) (1 Piece) – NOS
Original Seiko winding stem (巻真 / Winding Stem) from new old stock (NOS) for the legendary Seiko World Time (ワールドタイム). Offered is a single piece, taken from an original "SEIKO KEYLESS STEMS" bag (handwritten "ワールドタイム"; original packaging).
The winding stem is a central component of the keyless works and is necessary for winding and hand setting: the square engages with the clutch/winding gear train, and the external thread accommodates the crown.
About the model: The Seiko World Time was the first Japanese World-Timer/GMT watch in 1964 – on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where Seiko was the official timekeeper. Powered by the 17-jewel automatic caliber 6217A (references 6217-7000 and later 6217-7010). The 62-caliber family was also used in Grand Seiko models of that era and in the famous 62MAS diver's watch. Original, unused spare parts for this sought-after collector's watch are extremely difficult to find today – making them highly relevant for collectors and watchmakers restoring a World Time.
The part is unused and in very good original condition; due to storage, minor, purely cosmetic marks are possible, but they do not affect functionality.
Note on assignment: According to the original bag, the stem is assigned to the World Time; please nevertheless compare dimensions and fit with the required winding stem (Cal. 6217A) before installation.
Manufacturer: Seiko (K. Hattori & Co., Japan).
Warranty (used) This is an original part (NOS) stored for decades. The limitation period for claims for defects (statutory warranty) is 12 months from delivery.
Note Before installation, please compare dimensions and fit with the required winding stem; installation should be carried out professionally.
