SEIKO setting lever (1 piece) – for early Seiko Crown calibers

SEIKO setting lever (1 piece) – for early Seiko Crown calibers

Original SEIKO spare part (Oshidori) , in watchmaker jargon the rocker / setting lever .
This is a complete original bag of 10 pieces , made in Japan, early SEIKO production (pre-caliber system, 1950s-1960s).

The oshidori rocker is a central component of the winding and hand-setting mechanism. It transmits the movement of the winding stem and switches between winding and hand-setting modes. Its correct function is essential for a precise setting mechanism.

The piece shown comes from an original SEIKO pouch with the handwritten caliber designation クラウン ("Crown" = SEIKO Crown series). Due to its design and manufacturing method, this type of oshidori is used for the following historical calibers:

Compatible SEIKO calibers (after matching the shape)

  • Seiko Crown 560 / 560A / 560B
  • Seiko Crown 567 / 567A
  • Seiko J120 / J120A (early hand-wound movements)
  • Seiko 140 / 150 / 160 series (early Lord Marvel relatives)
  • Other early SEIKO hand-wound movements from the late 1950s and early 1960s that share the same Oshidori geometry.

(The design clearly corresponds to the Oshidori rockers identified in collector circles as belonging to the Crown series.)
