This limited edition SEIKO × Ultraman Tiga is part of the exclusive TDG Limited Edition Series , created in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions – the creator of the legendary Ultraman series.

The model was sold exclusively in Japan ( Japan Domestic Model, JDM ) and is limited to 300 pieces worldwide. It was designed in reference to the TV series Ultraman Tiga (ウルトラマンティガ, 1996–1997), which marked the beginning of the so-called Heisei Ultraman Trilogy (TDG) .

The simple, elegant design with the emblem of the special unit GUTS (Global Unlimited Task Squad) on the dial combines classic SEIKO design language with subtle pop culture references.

Each watch was individually numbered and delivered with an acrylic display stand .

Design & Details

The dial features a horizontal brushed finish in titanium grey with subtle red accents at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock – inspired by the color scheme of the Ultraman Tiga suit.
The emblem of the special unit GUTS is located at 6 o'clock, while the case back features a detailed engraving of the silhouette of Ultraman Tiga and the Japanese serial designation.

Background: Ultraman, Tiga and the TDG Trilogy

The Ultraman series was created in 1966 by Eiji Tsuburaya , the effects master of the original Godzilla films, and is one of the most influential science fiction and superhero series in Japan.
Ultraman Tiga (1996–1997) ushered in the modern era of the series and is considered the beginning of the so-called TDG trilogy ( Tiga – Dyna – Gaia ).

The protagonist Daigo Madoka transforms into Ultraman Tiga to protect Earth from alien threats together with the special unit GUTS (Global Unlimited Task Squad) .
Tiga was the first series in the franchise to introduce multiple hero forms with different abilities (Multi Type, Power Type, Sky Type) and became a symbol of the new Heisei optimism of the 1990s in Japan.

This Seiko collaboration is part of a series of three watches (Tiga, Dyna, Gaia), each referencing a series of the TDG trilogy.

This is an unworn item. The limitation period for claims based on defects (statutory warranty) is 12 months from delivery.
