This rare SEIKO × Ultraman Gaia is part of the exclusive TDG Limited Edition Series , created by Seiko in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions .
It was released exclusively for the Japanese market ( Japan Domestic Model, JDM ) and is limited to 300 copies worldwide.
The watch was produced to celebrate the 1998 broadcast of the series Ultraman Gaia (ウルトラマンガイア) – the final part of the so-called Heisei Ultraman Trilogy (TDG) , consisting of Tiga , Dyna and Gaia .

The model was produced for the Japanese domestic market ( Japan Domestic Market – JDM ) and features the emblem of the special unit GUTS (Global Unlimited Task Squad) on the dial.
Each watch was individually numbered and delivered with an acrylic display stand .

Design & Details

The dial is brushed anthracite grey and features the emblem of the special unit XIG (eXpanded Interceptive Guardians) – the central defense organization in Ultraman Gaia – at 6 o'clock.
The colored hour markers in yellow and light blue symbolize the duality of the two main characters Gaia and Agul , whose powers balance between earth and sea in the series.
The case back features the characteristic Ultraman Gaia engraving with the official licensed logo ©TPC .

Background: Ultraman Gaia and the TDG Trilogy

Following Ultraman Tiga (1996) and Ultraman Dyna (1997) , Ultraman Gaia (1998–1999) concluded the so-called TDG trilogy , which brought modernity to the Ultraman universe.
This series focuses on the scientific organization XIG , which uses advanced technology and the hero Ultraman Gaia to defend Earth against cosmic threats.

The series addresses ecological and philosophical questions for the first time: the conflict between humanity, nature, and technological progress. As a result, Ultraman Gaia is considered the most mature and thematically complex series of the Heisei era.
This Seiko watch incorporates the central symbol of the XIG organization and combines it with a minimalist, classic design – a tribute to Japanese engineering and science fiction culture alike.

This is an unworn item. The limitation period for claims based on defects (statutory warranty) is 12 months from delivery.
