The APV-35 mini band vise solves the classic problem of shortening metal watch bands: securely holding the band when driving out the pins – and then finding the tiny pins again. ANEX's design is well thought out down to the smallest detail:

What distinguishes this tool from European counterparts:

The band holders commonly used in Europe are simple plastic blocks with slots into which the band is merely inserted – the band can slip when driving out, and the pin shoots out uncontrollably. The APV-35, on the other hand, clamps the band like a real vise, and the pin-catching design simply does not exist in European tools: anyone who has ever searched for a 0.8 mm pin on the floor will appreciate this difference. The rubber jaws are also available as a spare part (ANEX APV-35R) – the tool is designed for continuous operation, not wear and tear.
