Original Citizen Replacement Dial Crystron Quartz 8550

Original replacement dial from old stock (NOS) for the Citizen Crystron Quartz. Marked with JAPAN 8550-851835-K.

Silver-colored dial with applied, faceted baton hour markers, double marker at 12 o'clock, and large framed day/date window at 3 o'clock. Applied CITIZEN logo with QUARTZ, the CQ emblem and the inscription CRYSTRON in the lower part of the dial.

Historical Background: From 1973, Crystron was Citizen's name for its own quartz line and the direct answer to Seiko's advance with the Astron. Citizen positioned the Crystron as a technically ambitious alternative and later developed the particularly accurate Crystron Mega and Crystron Solar models from it.

Condition: Old stock part, unworn. Fine scratches and storage marks are visible on the dial surface when viewed in glancing light (see photos). Applied hour markers and date frame complete, printing clean.
