With its extremely slim case of only 6.2 mm, classic dial with Roman numerals and high-quality craftsmanship, this watch embodies the typical Japanese dress watch aesthetic of the 1990s.

According to its serial number, this piece was produced in Japan in March 1994.

Special Features

The Citizen Forma line was developed in the early 1990s as an elegant dress watch series for the Japanese domestic market. The aim was to offer particularly flat and high-quality quartz watches that could be worn comfortably under a shirt cuff while also offering high-quality workmanship.

Many Forma models are characterized by very flat cases, elegant multi-level dials, and high-quality metal bracelets – features that are significantly rarer in many Citizen export models of that era.

This model also features ANTIMAG 4800 protection, which shields the quartz movement from magnetic influences. Especially in today's daily life with smartphones, tablets or laptops, magnetism can affect the accuracy of watches. The anti-magnetic shielding significantly reduces this risk.

The multi-level dial creates a beautiful sense of depth:
The outer ring has a silver sunburst finish, while the center is a slightly creamy tone.

The Roman numerals at XII, III, VI and IX as well as the applied arrow-shaped indices provide a classic, very elegant look. The black Dauphine hands provide a strong contrast and ensure excellent legibility.

Very nice and well-maintained condition.

The case shows only minor age-related signs of wear. Dial and hands are very well preserved. The original Citizen stainless steel bracelet is also included.

For a dress watch over 30 years old, this example is in remarkably good condition.
