Citizen Original Dial 2048-410707 "VEGA Junction" (Gold, small seconds) – NOS

Original Citizen replacement dial from the sub-brand VEGA, model series "JUNCTION", part no. 6-410707 (dial code 2048-410707-Y), manufactured by Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. in Japan (movement code IPCE). Unused original part (New Old Stock, NOS) in original Citizen "純正部品 / Genuine Parts" round tin.

The round dial features a warm, gold-colored sunburst finish with black printed Arabic numerals (1–12), a fine continuous railway minute track, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock (own 10–60 scale). Below the 12, the model name "JUNCTION", and below that the brand lettering "VEGA"; at the bottom edge "JAPAN 2048-410707-Y". The small seconds sub-dial gives the dial a classic watchmaking, almost pocket watch-like character.

A sought-after original part for collectors, watchmakers, and restorers who wish to authentically restore a Citizen Vega "Junction" with small seconds.

Background

VEGA was Citizen's sub-brand in the 1970s/80s for stylish quartz watches; the "Junction" series emerged in the late 1980s with striking models (Moonface), among others. The caliber 2048 is a Citizen analog quartz movement with small seconds – the same movement base that also features the licensed Popeye dial.
