The rectangular dial with rounded corners (portrait format, TV/cushion shape) features elegant, matte black with applied, polished gold bar indices (double index at 12) and fine gold-colored dot minute track. The "CITIZEN QUARTZ" lettering is in the upper half, below it the "CQ" emblem; at the bottom edge "JAPAN 2820-262155 KA". A pure time dial with central second, no date - a high-contrast, elegantly understated dress face.
