The square dial with rounded corners (TV/cushion shape) features an elegant, glossy-lacquered (piano) black with applied, polished gold baton indices (double index at 12) and fine gold/copper-colored dot minute track. In the upper half, the "CITIZEN QUARTZ" lettering, below it the "CQ" emblem; at the bottom edge "JAPAN 2820-263836 KA". A time-only dial with central seconds, no date – a particularly high-contrast, luxurious-looking dress face.
