Citizen Original Dial 2820-266011 "Citizen Quartz" (square, bevelled corners, black/gold, woven texture, applied indices) – NOS

Original Citizen replacement dial, part no. 6-266011 (dial code 2820-266011-Y), manufactured by Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. in Japan (factory code IPCE). New Old Stock (NOS) original part in original Citizen "純正部品 / Genuine Parts" round tin.

The square dial with bevelled corners (octagonal-like shape) features an elegant black with a fine, woven-like texture (linen/canvas look) and applied, polished gold bar indices (double index at 12) as well as a fine gold-coloured minute track. In the upper half, the lettering "CITIZEN QUARTZ" (gold), below it the "CQ" emblem (gold); at the bottom edge "JAPAN 2820-266011-Y". A time-only dial with central seconds, no date – the woven structure charmingly catches the light and sets the dial apart from plain matte variants.

A sought-after original part for collectors, watchmakers and restorers who wish to faithfully restore a square Citizen Quartz of calibre 2820 in the structured black and gold version.

Background: Citizen "CQ"

The "CQ" emblem stands for Citizen Quartz – Citizen's counterpart to Seiko's "SQ" signature and a hallmark of high-end Citizen quartz watches of the late 1970s/1980s. The applied gold indices on structured black clearly elevate this dial above the simply printed variants.
