The round dial features an elegant, silvery-bright sunburst finish with gold-colored accents: printed golden Arabic numerals (12, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) alternating with slender golden baton indices, plus a finely printed, circumferential seconds scale (5–60) at the edge – designed for a movement with a central second hand. Below 12 o'clock is the printed CITIZEN QUARTZ lettering. At the bottom edge is the factory designation "JAPAN 3630-361901". A technically elegant, very well-balanced dial without a date aperture.

Background: Citizen – Seiko's Great Rival in the Quartz Era
