Original replacement dial from new old stock (NOS) for a Citizen Quartz with day/date display. Marked with JAPAN 7100‑711227‑Y.

Warm brown dial with a fine texture, applied and polished baton indices with lume dots at the edge of the dial, double index at 12 o'clock and a framed combined window at 3 o'clock. Applied CITIZEN logo with QUARTZ, below which is the CQ emblem and the inscription WATER RESISTANT.

Historical background: The caliber 7100 belongs to the quartz generation that Citizen used in the second half of the 1970s, among others, in the Crystron line — the series with which Citizen responded to Seiko's advance with the Astron from 1973 onwards. Models of this series were managed in parallel under two numbering systems (7100‑71xxxx and 4‑73xxxx), which still causes confusion when searching for parts today. Brown dials are significantly rarer than the silver and white standard versions and are accordingly difficult to replace during restorations.

Condition — please read carefully: Old stock part, unworn, but with clear signs of age. A brownish discoloration with incipient corrosion runs along the lower edge of the dial above the embossing. Scattered dark specks are found across the dial surface. The luminous dots on the outer edge of the dial have darkened to olive green due to age, and dark oxidation spots are visible on the undersides of individual indices. Applied indices, CQ emblem and print are complete and sharp. All mentioned points are documented in the detailed photos and are part of the description — the price has been calculated accordingly.
