Citizen Seven Star V2 – freshly serviced 1970s automatic classic with extraordinary blue sunburst (June 1975)

This Citizen Seven Star V2 is a particularly harmonious and at the same time collectible example from the heyday of Japanese watchmaking in the 1970s. Especially striking is the exceptionally beautiful, deep blue sunburst dial, which shimmers between dark petrol and light metallic blue depending on the incidence of light – a detail that is rarely preserved in this quality in these models.

The clear, functional design with applied indices, day-date display and restrained branding reflects the typical design language of this era. The case with its integrated lugs appears compact yet present on the wrist and wears very comfortably due to its balanced proportions.

Particularly noteworthy is its technical condition: The watch has been fully serviced by a Japanese watchmaker. This eliminates the "service risk" usually associated with vintage watches immediately after purchase – a significant added value that also clearly translates economically.

The original Citizen steel bracelet is preserved and harmonizes with the case. The age-related stretch is typical for these bracelets, but it does not impair function or wearing comfort and, on the contrary, is an indication of originality.
