The PTZ-45 is the ESD version of ENGINEER's fine tweezers: a conductive coating safely dissipates electrostatic discharge, thus protecting the circuits of quartz movements during battery changes and repairs. The finely tapered tip precisely grips screws, retaining clips and small parts; with a length of 130 mm, the tweezers lie well balanced in the hand.

As an all-round ESD tweezer, it covers the majority of daily work on quartz watches and complements the super-fine PT-31 (0.3 mm) for delicate steps.

What distinguishes this tool from European counterparts:

Classic Swiss watchmaker's tweezers do not offer defined ESD dissipation; ESD tweezers from European electronics retailers, in turn, are rarely ground to watchmaker's fineness. Japanese manufacturers have been meeting both requirements in one tool since the beginnings of the quartz watch – the PTZ-45 is a typical example of this tool culture, which is not available in European watch specialty stores.
