Formex Essence 39 Automatic Chronometer "Black" 39mm

The Essence ThirtyNine combines modern design, Swiss precision, and the signature Formex case suspension system in a compact 39mm stainless steel case. With a height of just 10mm, it wears comfortably flat, making it a versatile everyday companion. The COSC-certified automatic movement ensures high mechanical precision.

The case, bezel, and the included stainless steel bracelet are finely brushed and elegantly accented by high-gloss polished bevels on the indices, hands, and bracelet links. The combination of clean lines, precise craftsmanship, and technical sophistication makes this model one of Formex's most distinctive timepieces.

Scope of Delivery

The watch is delivered at the specified price exclusively with the Formex stainless steel bracelet. This features:

Optionally available leather and rubber straps, as well as the Formex carbon fiber composite deployant clasp, are not included in the scope of delivery.

Movement

Inside, a COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with a Glucydur balance wheel is at work. This is characterized by high hardness, stability, and anti-magnetic properties.

The movement is decorated, features thermally blued screws, and is wound by a skeletonized rotor specially made for Formex.

Each movement undergoes the official 15-day COSC chronometer test and is then re-checked by Formex to ensure high precision of the fully assembled watch.

Dial

The horizontal lines are among the most striking features of the Essence. Each line is individually CNC-milled into the dial, creating the clean, sharply defined angles that characterize the design.

The beveled date window at 6 o'clock blends harmoniously into the dial. The color-matched date wheel ensures a balanced overall appearance. Swiss BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the hands and applied indices guarantees good readability day and night.

Stainless Steel Bracelet and Clasp

The included stainless steel bracelet features a seamlessly integrated butterfly clasp with a hidden micro-extension. This allows the bracelet length to be comfortably adjusted to changes in wrist circumference.

Thanks to the quick-release system, the stainless steel bracelet can be changed without tools in just a few seconds.

Optionally available leather and rubber straps are also equipped with a quick-release system. The corresponding Formex carbon fiber composite deployant clasp with patented fine adjustment is available separately.

Patented Case Suspension System

The patented Formex case suspension protects the movement from shocks and simultaneously increases wearing comfort. Four springs between the upper and lower case absorb impacts and allow for flexible movement of the case on the wrist.

Optionally Available Carbon Composite Deployant Clasp

For separately available leather and rubber straps, Formex offers a carbon fiber composite deployant clasp. It allows for fine adjustment of the strap length directly on the wrist and combines low weight with high durability.

The carbon composite deployant clasp, as well as leather and rubber straps, are not included in this offer.

The Essence ThirtyNine offers the technical sophistication and precision of the Essence collection in a particularly versatile 39mm format.

Officially Certified Chronometer

Each movement is tested by COSC and receives an individual chronometer number. Formex re-checks each movement after assembly to ensure high precision of the complete watch.
