Formex Essence 39 Automatic Chronometer "Mother of Sky" 39mm

The Mother-of-Sky dial gives this Essence ThirtyNine an exceptionally serene and shimmering radiance. It is crafted from a single piece of the inner layer of the Pinctada maxima shell, ensuring that each dial has a unique structure and color nuance. A thin layer of lacquer on the underside creates the characteristic sky-blue hue. The horizontal lines are precisely CNC-milled, giving the surface its clear, sharply defined contours.

Mother-of-pearl is one of the most resistant natural materials and reveals a fascinating play of brilliance, color, and shimmer under changing light. Rose gold accents, applied indices with brushed surfaces and hand-polished facets, as well as the color-matched date display at 6 o'clock, complete the elegant overall look. The polished edges continue on the case, bezel, and clasp.

Scope of Delivery and Strap

At the stated price, the watch is delivered exclusively with an Italian calfskin strap featuring curved spring bars, a quick-release system, and a Formex carbon composite folding clasp with patented fine adjustment.

The stainless steel bracelet shown in some product images is not included in the scope of delivery and can be purchased separately. The images are for illustration purposes of the various combination possibilities.

Thanks to the quick-release system, the leather strap can be changed in a few seconds without tools. Optionally available leather, rubber, and stainless steel straps from the Essence series allow for individual customization of the watch.

Patented Case Suspension System

The patented Formex case suspension protects the movement from shocks and simultaneously increases wearing comfort. Four springs between the upper and lower case absorb impacts and allow for flexible movement of the case on the wrist.

Officially Certified Chronometer

Each movement is tested by COSC and undergoes a 15-day chronometer test. Less than three percent of all Swiss movements bear this certification. Formex additionally checks each movement after assembly to ensure high precision of the complete watch. Each watch receives an individual chronometer number.
