Formex Essence 41 Automatic Chronometer "Blue" 41mm Steel Bracelet

The Essence FortyOne brings Formex's most successful model into a new 41 mm stainless steel case — ideally positioned between 39 mm and 43 mm. The patented case suspension is retained and complemented by a redesigned screw-down crown, which works optimally with the shock-absorbing case design and offers additional security.

Four distinctive dials — Blue, Gamaret, Dégradé, and White — are created in the family-owned dial manufacture in the Swiss Jura mountains. The new patented butterfly clasp allows for on-the-fly micro-adjustment (0 / 3 / 6 mm) without opening the strap. Vertical brushing and diamond-polished bevels run through the case, bezel, bracelet, indices, and hands, creating the unmistakable Formex finish. Swiss Made. COSC-certified. Designed for daily use.

Movement

A COSC-certified Swiss-made automatic movement powers the Essence FortyOne. Every movement undergoes the official 15-day chronometer test and is equipped with a skeletonized rotor produced specifically for Formex. Precision, stability, and reliability are at the forefront.

Dial

The horizontal lines are individually CNC-milled into the dial, creating a sharp relief with an intense play of light. The beveled date window at 6 o'clock blends harmoniously with the color-matched date wheels.

Diamond-polished, applied indices and hands with Swiss Super‑LumiNova BGW9 ensure clear readability day and night. Each of the four color variants has its own character — all unmistakably Essence.

Bracelet & Clasp

The stainless steel bracelet features a seamless, patented butterfly clasp with three micro-adjustments (0 / 3 / 6 mm) that can be adjusted in seconds — no tools, no taking it off.

All Essence straps are equipped with a quick-release system and can be changed quickly and securely. Leather, rubber, and nylon straps are optionally available and compatible with the Formex folding clasp — however, this product description refers exclusively to the stainless steel bracelet.

Suspension System

The patented Formex case suspension protects the movement from impacts and increases comfort through flexible case movement. Four springs between the upper and lower case absorb loads and ensure a particularly pleasant feel on the wrist.

41 mm Stainless Steel – reimagined

The FortyOne not only closes the size gap — it improves the Essence in all areas. The new butterfly clasp offers more adjustment range without interrupting the look. The screw-down crown works perfectly with the case suspension and increases security and comfort.

A highlight is the new meteorite dial: silver-colored, deeply textured, with blued hands and indices — a true eye-catcher.

Officially Certified Chronometer

Every movement is tested by the COSC and receives an individual chronometer number. Less than 3% of all Swiss watch movements carry this certificate. Formex additionally tests every movement after assembly to ensure the highest precision.
