Formex Essence 41 Automatic Chronometer "Dégradé" 41mm

The Essence FortyOne translates the characteristic Formex design into a balanced 41mm stainless steel case, positioning itself between the previous sizes of 39 and 43 mm. The patented case suspension is retained and complemented by a redesigned screw-down crown that works optimally with the shock-absorbing case construction.

At the stated price, the watch is delivered exclusively with the Formex stainless steel bracelet with a quick-release system and patented butterfly clasp. This allows for micro-adjustment in three stages of 0, 3, and 6 mm without having to open the bracelet or remove the watch from the wrist.

The characteristic dials are created in the family's own dial manufacture in the Swiss Jura. Vertical brushing and diamond-polished chamfers run through the case, bezel, stainless steel bracelet, indices, and hands, creating the unmistakable Formex finish. Swiss Made, COSC-certified, and designed for daily use.

Movement

Inside, a COSC-certified Swiss-made automatic movement is at work. Each movement undergoes the official 15-day chronometer test and is equipped with a skeletonized rotor specially made for Formex.

Precision, stability, and reliability are central. Formex additionally checks the movement after assembly to ensure high accuracy of the fully assembled watch.

Dial

The horizontal grooves are individually milled into the dial using CNC, creating a precise relief with intense play of light.

The beveled date window at 6 o'clock harmoniously integrates into the dial. The color-matched date wheel supports the balanced overall appearance.

Diamond-polished, applied indices and hands with Swiss BGW9 Super-LumiNova ensure clear readability day and night.

Stainless steel bracelet and clasp

The included stainless steel bracelet features a seamlessly integrated and patented butterfly clasp.

The micro-adjustment can be adjusted in three stages of 0, 3, and 6 mm. The adjustment is made directly on the wrist, without tools and without having to open the bracelet.

Thanks to the quick-release system, the stainless steel bracelet can be removed from the watch within a few seconds without tools.

Patented case suspension system

The patented Formex case suspension protects the movement from shocks and simultaneously increases wearing comfort.

Four springs between the upper and lower case absorb stress and allow flexible movement of the case on the wrist.

41mm stainless steel case

The Essence FortyOne closes the size gap between the existing Essence models and offers a balanced ratio of presence and wearability.

The screw-down crown works in conjunction with the patented case suspension, increasing the watch's security and everyday usability.

Officially certified chronometer

Each movement is tested by COSC and receives an individual chronometer number. Formex additionally checks each movement after assembly to ensure high precision of the complete watch.
