The Space Ghost 41 mm was the first version of this special edition and also introduced a new intermediate size within Formex's Essence steel collection. With its balanced size between 39 and 43 mm, it combines a noticeable wrist presence with high everyday usability. The proportions appear modern and sporty, yet remain comfortably wearable and versatile. At the same time, the model retains the modular platform of the Essence series with its tool-free interchangeable strap system.
The highlight of this watch is its extraordinary dial: it is made from Muonionalusta meteorite, a material approximately 4.5 billion years old that naturally exhibits the characteristic Widmanstätten structure. This means that no two dials are alike. A rhodium treatment applied by Formex protects the raw structure of the meteorite and, at the same time, effectively brings out its silvery sheen. Blued hands provide a striking contrast and give the watch its special, almost floating appearance.
Inside, the COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 movement ensures precise Swiss mechanics and high reliability. The overall package is complemented by several technical advancements: a screw-down crown for added security, a newly designed butterfly clasp with stepless fine adjustment directly on the wrist, without opening the clasp, and revised screws for attaching the bracelet links. The patented Case Suspension System is also part of the concept, providing shock absorption and the high wearing comfort for which Formex is known.
