Formex REEF 39.5mm Automatic COSC 300M "Forged Carbon"

The Reef 39.5 mm Forged Carbon expands the collection with a striking material variant: forged carbon for the dial and bezel, combined with Formex’s patented fine-adjustment system for exceptional wearing comfort in any environment.

The dial is created under heat and pressure from compressed carbon and reveals a natural, varied structure – each piece is unique. Depending on the light incidence, color nuances and texture change, reminiscent of the flowing movement of water. The beveled date window at 6 o'clock, a Formex trademark, integrates harmoniously into the design.

The forged carbon bezel follows the same philosophy. Its engravings are executed with a high-precision laser and then hand-filled with Grade A BGW9 Super‑LumiNova to ensure optimal readability in low light conditions. It is unidirectional, features 120 precise clicks, and can be removed and replaced without tools.

Despite its robust features, the Reef 39.5 mm remains remarkably compact: just 11 mm in height and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug. With 300 m water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 with 56 hours of power reserve, it offers true diver's watch performance in a highly wearable format. The stepless fine-adjustment systems on all bracelet variants ensure a precise fit all day long.

Unidirectional Rotatable Bezel Made of Forged Carbon

The bezel, crafted from forged carbon, showcases a unique, organic surface – each piece has its own pattern. The engravings are precisely executed by laser and then hand-filled with Grade A BGW9 Super‑LumiNova.

Serrated grooves on the edge ensure excellent grip, even with wet hands or gloves. The 120-click mechanism operates smoothly and precisely, allowing for accurate adjustment of dive time. The bezel can be removed without tools and exchanged for other variants from the Reef collection.

Officially Certified Chronometer

Inside, the Swiss Made Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement operates at the highest quality level, Chronometer. The Glucydur balance offers exceptional hardness, stability, antimagnetism, and corrosion resistance. The flat movement enables the slim overall height of only 11 mm.

The custom-made, skeletonized Formex rotor with blued screws efficiently winds the movement. Each movement is tested by COSC, undergoes the 15-day test, and carries an individual chronometer number. Formex re-tests each movement after assembly according to the same criteria – a level of quality achieved by less than 3% of all Swiss movements.

Carbon Fiber Clasp with Fine Adjustment

The patented Formex folding clasp made of carbon fiber composite allows for step-by-step fine adjustment of the strap length by 7 mm without removing the watch from the wrist. Since wrist circumference changes throughout the day, this system ensures a perfect fit at all times. Straps and clasp can be changed completely without tools.

The beveled date window at 6 o'clock with a color-matched date wheel integrates seamlessly. Triangular, gunmetal-colored indices angled towards the center enhance visual depth. Vertically brushed hands and indices with polished facets ensure clear readability. All elements are coated with BGW9 Super‑LumiNova and glow intensely blue.
