Formex REEF 39.5mm Automatic COSC 300M "Silver"

With its tool-free interchangeable bezels and straps, the Formex Reef 39.5 mm is one of the most versatile mechanical dive watches on the market. The compact, hand-finished stainless steel case houses an officially certified Swiss chronometer movement with a 56-hour power reserve.

The watch is supplied at the specified price exclusively with the Formex stainless steel bracelet with screw-down links, quick-release system and integrated fine adjustment. Optional rubber straps and other bracelet variants are not included.

The 39.5mm case offers functional protection for the screw-down crown and harmonious symmetry. The compact diameter allows for a lug-to-lug measurement of only 45.5 mm and a slim height of 11 mm. The double sealing construction is designed for a water resistance of 300 meters or 1,000 feet.

Polished facets and brushed surfaces on the case, stainless steel bracelet, hands, and triangular indices create a balanced interplay of elegance and sporty character.

Design and Character

The available dials are manufactured in Formex's in-house factory in the Swiss Jura. The blue, green, and silver variants feature a sunray finish with a hand-sprayed dégradé color gradient.

The white dial gains a special optical depth through multiple layers of transparent lacquer on a polished base. Triangular, applied indices imitate a chapter ring and enhance the spatial effect without increasing the overall height of the watch.

Vertically brushed surfaces and polished facets reflect the finishing of the case. The double-sided beveled date window harmoniously integrates into the dial thanks to the color-matched date wheel.

Hands, indices, and the zero marker of the bezel are filled with Swiss BGW9 Super-LumiNova and glow intensely blue in the dark.

COSC-certified automatic movement

The Reef 39.5 mm is powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, which is officially certified by COSC.

The Chronometer grade movement features a Glucydur balance wheel, which is characterized by high hardness, stability, and anti-magnetic and corrosion-resistant properties. The flat construction of the movement enables the watch's slim overall height of only 11 mm.

The custom-made, skeletonized Formex rotor was specially developed for this model. Each movement undergoes the official 15-day chronometer test and receives an individual certificate number. Formex also checks the movement after assembly to ensure high precision of the fully assembled watch.

Stainless steel bracelet and wearing comfort

The included stainless steel bracelet is equipped with screw-down links, a quick-release system, and integrated fine adjustment.

The fine adjustment allows for comfortable adaptation of the bracelet to changes in wrist circumference throughout the day. Thanks to the quick-release system, the stainless steel bracelet can be removed from the watch without tools within seconds.
