About this watch
The 42mm stainless steel REEF is a true diver's watch, powered by a COSC-certified automatic caliber SW300, representing Sellita's highest quality level and utilizing only premium components found in chronometer movements. This slim, high-precision caliber allowed the REEF to be constructed with a thickness of just 11.4mm and a perceived height of 9.4mm, making it perfectly suited for elegant occasions as well. Underwater activities A double sealing design was developed and tested for water resistance to 300 m.
The unidirectional rotating bezel is one of the most striking features and is made of an extremely hard and scratch-resistant zirconia ceramic. The scales and numerals are engraved using femtosecond laser pulses. Each bezel requires 60 minutes of precision engraving to achieve its three-dimensional effect. The milled, gear-like recesses around the edge of the bezel provide the diver with an ideal grip for securely setting and monitoring dive time and decompression stops. The 120-click mechanism is responsive and smooth, yet offers firm and precise bezel operation. Furthermore, the bezel can be changed without tools.
The sunburst dial is manufactured in the watch's own dial manufactory in the Swiss Jura region. The color gradient for the different dials is sprayed by hand. The REEF's rehaut-style hour markers are also applied by hand and are triangular in shape, pointing towards the broad hour and minute hands, which feature the same detailed beveled high-gloss polish and brushed finish. The hands and hour markers, as well as a capsule on the bezel's zero mark, are deeply filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9, which emits a long-lasting blue glow in the dark. Being able to read the time with absolute certainty is a matter of survival when diving.
Both the massive link bracelet and the rubber band They feature a clasp with a patented fine adjustment system as well as a completely newly developed and patented quick-change system that allows for tool-free changing of the straps.

CARBON COMPOSITE CLASP WITH FINE ADJUSTMENT
Its rubber strap comes with this carbon fiber composite clasp developed by Formex. It features a patented micro-adjustment system that allows you to adjust the strap length in 7mm increments without removing the watch from your wrist. Since the circumference of our wrist changes throughout the day, this system provides a tailored fit in all conditions, noticeably improving comfort on the wrist.
