Design and Character

The 42mm case made of 316L stainless steel combines clean lines, polished chamfers, and finely brushed surfaces. With a height of 11.4mm, the Reef wears comfortably flat despite its robust construction, making it suitable even for elegant attire.

The dial is manufactured in the in-house Formex manufacture in the Swiss Jura. The sunburst finish with a hand-sprayed dégradé color gradient creates different color nuances and a pronounced optical depth depending on the light incidence.

Triangular, applied rehaut indices, broad hands with polished and brushed surfaces, and generous coating with Swiss BGW9 Super-LumiNova ensure clear readability. In the dark, the hands and indices glow intensely blue.

Ceramic Bezel – Precision and Durability

Depending on the version, the unidirectional rotating bezel is made of particularly durable zirconium oxide ceramic or stainless steel.

Scales and numerals of the ceramic bezel are engraved with precise femto-laser pulses. The serrated grip profile ensures a secure hold even with wet hands or gloves.

The 120-click mechanism operates precisely and allows for exact setting of the dive time. The bezel can be removed without tools and replaced with other compatible variants from the Reef collection.

Further bezel variants are optionally available and are not part of this offer unless explicitly mentioned in the scope of delivery.

COSC-certified Automatic Movement

Inside, the Swiss Made Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement operates at the chronometer quality level. The movement is officially certified by COSC and features a Glucydur balance, 25 jewels, and a power reserve of 56 hours.

The movement is decorated and wound by a skeletonized rotor specially made for Formex. Each movement undergoes the official 15-day chronometer test and receives an individual chronometer number.

Formex additionally checks the movement after assembly to ensure high precision of the fully assembled watch.

Stainless Steel Bracelet and Wearing Comfort

The included Formex stainless steel bracelet features screwed links, a quick-release system, and integrated fine adjustment.

The fine adjustment allows for comfortable adaptation of the bracelet to changes in wrist circumference throughout the day. Thanks to the quick-release system, the stainless steel bracelet can be removed from the watch in a few seconds without tools.

Optionally Available Straps

For the Formex Reef, other bracelet variants are available separately, including:
