Giulio Valentino Quartz (JDM) – Flat Two-Tone Dress Watch, 34.7 mm – Only 7.2 mm High

A cream-colored dial with black baton indices, a gold-colored bezel on a silver case, and a height of 7.2 millimeters: a small, understated dress watch that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Design and Character

The dial foregoes numerals and exclusively uses slender black baton indices that stand out clearly against the light background. The hands are gilded and equally restrained; there is no date display, which perfectly maintains symmetry. The signature is in fine script above the center.

The bicolor execution – silver case, gold-colored bezel – was the most common design for dress watches in the 1980s and 1990s and works again today because it doesn't commit entirely to gold or entirely to steel.

With a diameter of 34.7 mm, a lug-to-lug of 40.2 mm, and a height of 7.2 mm, the watch is small and slim; at 23 grams, it is among the lightest in our inventory. It comes with a new dark red leather strap that picks up the warm tone of the bezel.

Giulio Valentino is a fashion brand with an Italian-sounding name that was sold in Japan as an inexpensive fashion watch. The name is a style designation, not an indication of origin – the watch is not of Italian manufacture. We state this explicitly to ensure clarity about its origin from the outset.

The watch is in good condition with no major scratches. The watch was serviced and had its battery changed in Japan in spring 2026.
