INDEN est. 1582 is the oldest manufacturer of Koshu Inden – lacquered deerskin from Kofu, Japan. For over 400 years, soft deerskin has been finished with Japanese lacquer, a technique originally used for samurai armor and equipment. Today, it is used to create elegant everyday accessories that combine traditional Japanese patterns with modern design.

The "Chevron-S" business card case is a slim, high-quality business card holder for a stylish first impression. Depending on the paper thickness, it holds approximately 20–30 business cards and also features side slots for ID cards or other plastic cards. Its flat design fits perfectly in a jacket, trouser, or briefcase pocket, making it ideal for meetings, trade fairs, and business appointments.

The exterior is made of lacquered deerskin, while the interior is lined with supple cowhide – both meticulously handcrafted by Japanese artisans. Over time, the leather adapts to the leather, becoming softer and developing a subtle sheen that gives each case a unique patina.

The chevron pattern takes its form from arrow fletchings and symbolizes a bow on the battlefield in Japan. It is used as a lucky charm at ceremonies such as weddings and graduations and represents determination – alluding to the proverb that an arrow shot from a bow does not return. In the BK x BK (black × black) color variant, the case appears particularly minimalist, sophisticated, and timeless – perfect for business settings.
