INDEN Long Wallet “Rippleal” – BK x WH

INDEN est. 1582 is the oldest manufacturer of Koshu Inden – lacquered deerskin from Kofu, Japan. For over 400 years, soft deerskin has been finished with Japanese lacquer, a technique originally used for samurai armor and equipment. Today, it is used to create elegant everyday accessories that combine traditional Japanese patterns with modern design.

The Long Wallet “Rippleal” is a Japanese, handcrafted envelope wallet made of deer and cowhide leather – slim in design, surprisingly spacious inside. Its narrow silhouette is elegant and understated, while the interior neatly organizes all your essentials.

Inside, the wallet offers two bill compartments , a zippered coin pocket or small essentials, twelve card slots , and three additional slip pockets for receipts, tickets, or ID cards. The long wallet closes with a classic snap fastener – quick, secure, and practical for everyday use. The exterior is made of robust deerskin, while the interior features generous use of cowhide leather. Over time, the leather will soften, becoming more supple and developing a rich sheen.

The Rippleal pattern interprets the wave motion of the ocean – sometimes stormy, sometimes calm. The two-tone design gives it a modern, graphic feel. In the BK x WH (black x white) color variant, the wallet appears clean, timeless, and yet very distinctive.
