About the series "Detective Conan"
Detective Conan by Gōshō Aoyama has been running in Weekly Shōnen Sunday since 1994 and is one of Japan's most successful manga/anime series. Protagonist Shinichi Kudō is reverted to a child by a poison and henceforth investigates as Conan Edogawa while hunting the "Black Organization." The character honored here, Tōru Amuro (codename "Bourbon"), is one of the series' most popular characters: He acts as a triple agent (detective/FBI adversary/undercover) and works at Café Poirot – hence the cup iconography on the dial and box. Amuro episodes and movies are among the franchise's most-watched contributions.
