JIOS "SEIRAN" - Biwako Blue x blue hands x steel bracelet

The Japanese watch brand JIOS was founded in Ishiyama, Otsu City in Shiga Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese watchmaking. The brand's goal is to make high quality and Japanese manufacturing known worldwide.
All components are 100% made in Japan, including the leather straps.

The first model from JIOS, the "SEIRAN", impresses with a refined, classic design that looks stylish and elegant on the wrist. The watch combines Roman numerals with bar indices, ensuring optimal readability. A date display increases its suitability for everyday use, while the guilloché dial with its fine texture impresses in a wide variety of situations – from business meetings to dinner.

With the color variant Biwako Blue, JIOS expands its first model SEIRAN with a particularly fresh and at the same time meaningful version. The clear, bright blue tone is inspired by Lake Biwa (Japanese Biwako) in Shiga Prefecture – Japan's largest freshwater lake. The color is locally considered the "color of happiness" and symbolizes tranquility, clarity and positive energy.

While similar shades are often broadly referred to as "Ice Blue" internationally, JIOS deliberately chose the name Biwako Blue to emphasize its regional origin and cultural significance. The aim is to contribute to the visibility of this region through watch design and to carry its identity out into the world.

The finely guilloché dial gives the blue tone depth and elegance. Blue hands and Roman numerals in combination with subtle bar indices ensure a classic, very legible design. The date display blends harmoniously into the overall picture. Three-dimensionally designed indices prevent a flat impression and underline the watch's high-quality claim.

The 38mm stainless steel case offers a balanced presence on the wrist and makes the SEIRAN versatile to wear – both in everyday life and in a business environment. Inside works the proven Japanese automatic movement Citizen Miyota 8215 with manual winding and hacking seconds. The movement remains visible through the sapphire glass case back.

The five-link stainless steel bracelet gives the watch a particularly high-quality, striking appearance and can be effortlessly combined with almost any style.
