This exceptional military watch comes from Kentex, a Japanese manufacturer specializing in functional tool watches with close ties to government institutions. In Japan, Kentex is particularly known for official and semi-official models for the police, fire department, and especially the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF).

The "Ranger" model presented here is directly inspired by military requirements and visibly bears the GSDF reference on the dial and case back. The design consistently follows functional principles: clear Arabic numerals, high readability due to strong contrasts, and a dial entirely in camouflage – a version that rarely appears on the market in this form.
