This King Seiko 5625-7000 from June 1970 is one of the most technically and aesthetically interesting KS models from the late Daini era. Particularly noteworthy is the rare blue dial, which is significantly rarer than the silver or champagne-colored variants and is therefore highly sought after today.
The watch is powered by the Caliber 5625 (Hi-Beat) with 28,800 A/h, date, and hand-winding capability. This movement is considered a direct technical predecessor of later Grand Seiko calibers and exemplifies King Seiko's high standards during this period.
The watch was fully disassembled and professionally serviced in Japan in January 2026 (complete service) and is now in excellent technical and optical condition. It is worn on a new black leather strap.
The original King Seiko crown (KS) is present. The case back medallion is missing, which is not unusual for this reference type and occurs regularly even on otherwise untouched original cases.

Historical Context
