The KNIS Meteorite GMT Automatic Diver Blue is a watch whose real highlight is many millions of years older than the watch itself. Its dial is made from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite – an extraordinary material that originated in space and was found on Earth after its journey through the cosmos.
The meteorite's characteristic Widmanstätten structure was formed by the extremely slow cooling of the material over millions of years. This natural crystal structure cannot be artificially reproduced. No two pieces of meteorite are exactly alike – and thus, every single KNIS Meteorite GMT has its own unique pattern.

With the KN007-MTBL, this extraordinary material meets the blue version of the classic GMT diver. The result is a watch that stands out from the crowd due to its material alone, while also being designed as a robust mechanical everyday and travel watch.

Genuine Muonionalusta Meteorite – every dial a unique piece

KNIS uses genuine Muonionalusta meteorite for the dial. This rare meteorite material was discovered within the Arctic Circle and is particularly sought after for high-quality watch dials due to its striking Widmanstätten structure.

This is not a printed or artificially created structure. The visible crystalline patterns are an integral part of the meteorite itself and were formed during its extremely slow cooling over a period of millions of years.

This makes each dial individual. Lines, surfaces and structures differ from watch to watch – every KNIS Meteorite GMT is thus a true one-of-a-kind.

The blue GMT version

The KN007-MTBL is the blue variant of the KNIS Meteorite GMT Automatic Diver. It combines the extraordinary meteorite dial with the sporty design of a classically inspired diver and a mechanical GMT function.

With a diameter of 40 mm, 47 mm lug-to-lug, and a height of 13 mm, the stainless steel case remains well-proportioned despite its robust construction. Three-dimensional hands and indices ensure clear legibility and underscore the watch's distinctive character.

For visibility in the dark, the hands and indices are coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova®.

Mechanical GMT for travel and everyday life

Inside, the proven Seiko TMI NH34A automatic GMT movement is at work.

A separate GMT hand allows a second time zone to be read at a glance – a practical feature for travel, international contacts, or simply for anyone who wants to combine classic mechanical watch technology with additional functionality.

The NH34A features automatic and manual winding, a stop-seconds function for precise time setting, and offers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.

200 meters water resistant

The Meteorite GMT is not just limited to its extraordinary appearance. KNIS designed it as a robust watch for everyday life, travel, and activities in water.

A screw-down crown, a screwed case back, and water resistance of 200 meters or 20 ATM ensure its suitability for everyday use.

According to the manufacturer, this means the watch is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, among other activities.

Sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel

The meteorite dial is protected by sapphire crystal. This resilient material is characterized by its high scratch resistance and excellent transparency.

KNIS also uses ceramic for the bezel. This material is extremely resistant to scratches, UV radiation, and water, thus retaining its surface and color effect in the long term.

Solid stainless steel bracelet

The case and bracelet are made of 316L stainless steel. KNIS also avoids a simple stamped construction for the clasp.

A solid stainless steel push-button folding clasp is used, which, according to the manufacturer, is precision-manufactured from a solid block of metal. This ensures not only stability and durability but also a correspondingly high-quality feel.

With the stainless steel bracelet, the watch weighs approximately 160 grams and is designed for wrists up to approximately 21 cm in circumference.

Made in Japan

The origin is also part of the KNIS Meteorite GMT concept: The watch is assembled in Japan and marked as "Made in Japan".

This way, KNIS combines an extraordinary natural material with Japanese manufacturing, classic diver design, and a proven mechanical GMT caliber.
