KUOE is a young watch brand founded in 2020 in the traditional city of Kyoto, Japan. Inspired by Kyoto's rich cultural history and aesthetic heritage, KUOE focuses on a combination of timeless elegance and modern craftsmanship. The brand's designs are inspired by classic vintage watches and are characterized by minimalist details and high-quality materials that combine a touch of retro style with modern precision - all at affordable prices.
The first bronze model from KUOE is based on the OLD SMITH / 90-002. Inspired by British military watches from the 1940s to the 1970s, this automatic watch combines the characteristic design of that era: striking Arabic numerals, robust hands and a dial with Swiss Super-LumiNova®. The case is made of bronze, which develops an individual patina over time through oxidation. The discoloration of the bronze depends on how often it is worn and the environment, giving the watch a personal, unique touch. The sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating on the inside. Please note that due to the nature of the material used for this watch, this product is non-returnable.
