Design and Character

The cream-colored dial features a full circle of large, black Arabic numerals with fine minute markers – a design aimed at maximum legibility, without any embellishments. Below the center are details about the movement and water resistance.

The defining feature is the finely fluted bezel in coin-edge style, which provides an elaborate-looking frame for the simple dial. With a diameter of 36.7 mm, a lug-to-lug of 43.9 mm, and a height of 8.5 mm, the watch is a comfortably neutral size; at 33 grams on the new red leather strap, it is extremely light.

About the Brand and Manufacturing

La Montagna is a Japanese brand that does not manufacture its own movements – the quartz movements are bought in. The case back openly documents this: JAPAN MOVT · ASSEMBLED IN CHINA · STAINLESS STEEL BACK. The movement is therefore manufactured in Japan, and assembly took place in China.

The case back also bears the inscription "DESIGNED BY ITALY". 

Condition

The watch is in good used condition - it was cleaned, inspected, and fitted with a new battery in Japan in early 2026.

The specification of 30 m is the manufacturer's specification for new condition. As this is a used watch, no water resistance can be guaranteed. To protect the movement, the watch should not come into contact with water or moisture.
