An original maruman textile strap in apparently unworn NOS condition, complete in its original box – ideal for completing a delicate Japanese vintage watch in an expressive and period-appropriate style.

The strap consists of a tightly woven synthetic/nylon fabric in a vibrant tartan look (red, black, blue, yellow, and cream) – firm, durable, and color-intensive. It is finished with a gold-colored, signed maruman buckle with a matching loop.

maruman is a respected Japanese strap manufacturer, primarily known for its high-quality metal bracelets, but also produced textile and leather straps. Such tartan straps were a fashionable highlight of their time and are now a distinctive, rare alternative to plain leather.
