Original Seiko Diver Bracelet DB71BP (18–16 mm) – black (JDM)

The standard Seiko polyurethane strap in 18 mm – black, matte, without decoration. In Japan, it is offered for diver's watch models, among others, and is a consumable item there; in Europe, you have to search for it. The material remains supple for years, does not absorb odors, and tolerates saltwater and sun significantly better than leather or older-style silicone.

Particularly good on 18 mm diver polyurethane is rare – most diver's watch straps start at 20 mm. This allows an 18 mm vintage Seiko (Lord Matic, Seiko 5, Business-A) to be consciously styled as a tool watch, and modern 18 mm models get a sporty alternative to the steel bracelet.
