His idea: not a sterile retro copy, but watches that capture the spirit of the golden chronograph era and make them wearable again today – in small series, with attention to detail and a clear eye for style.
A commemorative model with true "insider" character
The “Lemon” is a special edition celebrating OUTLINE's 5th anniversary and is one of those models that immediately gets people talking in the scene. It is based on the successful 2-Register Chronograph Series I in the classic Panda style – but here deliberately interpreted differently: with a warm, creamy lemon yellow that doesn't look gaudy, but elegant and fashionable. This contrast of yellow, black, and gold tone gives the watch its special look.
Inspiration: "Lemon Dial" and the Paul Newman Myth
The color idea alludes to what enthusiasts like to describe as the "Lemon" aesthetic in extremely rare vintage chronographs. OUTLINE translates this myth not into a copy, but into a modern, wearable interpretation – with a dial tone that is excellent for combining and immediately recognizable on the wrist.
Mecha-Quartz with Chronograph Feeling
The watch is powered by the Seiko Mecha-Quartz caliber VK64. In everyday use, this means uncomplicated quartz precision, but when stopping, you feel the chronograph character – including a sweeping chronograph second hand, which is much closer to the mechanical experience than a classic tick-tock.
