OUTLINE 369 Special – 1950s classics reinterpreted

The OUTLINE 369 Special is a stylish homage to legendary watches of the 1950s - with 3 dial variants, the characteristic 3-6-9 arrangement, 2 models with an extraordinary "honeycomb" dial, which was only found on a few original models of this era.

The black honeycomb dial version has been retained, while the white dial version in the new model now features applied gold-colored indices (instead of printed ones). Also available for the first time is a smooth black dial without the honeycomb pattern, featuring highly polished indices for a more modern look.

This watch combines authentic vintage charm with modern precision – powered by the Miyota Caliber 9039, one of the thinnest automatic movements in the 9000 series with a stop-second function, 42 hours of power reserve and a high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The 9 highlights of the 369 Special

1) Reproduction of the rare Honeycomb dial:
The special honeycomb structure (guilloché), which was only found on a few early 1950s models, was elaborately recreated – with visible depth and an authentic surface shine.

2) Classic proportions & large crown:
With a 36 mm diameter and an 8 mm crown, the watch offers comfortable wear and a retro feel. The screw-down crown also ensures better handling. The luminous material on the hands and indices is deliberately aged and barely glows in the dark—a deliberate vintage detail.

3) Dome-shaped acrylic glass in the style of the 50s:
The strongly domed acrylic glass with a height of 4 mm gives the watch a charming, voluminous profile – typical of high-quality watches of that time.

4) Narrow, curved middle part of the case:
The case was elaborately designed to preserve the design language of the early models. It tapers slightly toward the lugs, reminiscent of classic "bubbleback" models. The screw-down case back is slightly domed.

5) Large engraved serial number (“Big Number”):
The case back features a striking “Big Number” style engraving – a homage to the famous Rolex Comex models.

6) Popular Rivet Bracelet – exclusively at OUTLINE:
The Rivet bracelets are faithful replicas of historic Rolex bracelets from the 1950s. The last two links can be easily shortened with a flathead screwdriver – a unique feature of OUTLINE. Over 600 pieces have already been sold separately – a true bestseller.
