Historical background

The FIST series was conceived in the late 1990s as a design experiment between Casio and several Japanese fashion labels .
The MD-784 was the most technically advanced model in this series – developed for the Japanese domestic market, produced in small numbers, and never officially exported.

With its solid case, unusually high water resistance, and shimmering dial, it was considered Casio's analog counterpart to the G-Shock "MT-G" line , albeit in significantly smaller production runs. Today, it is one of the most sought-after Casio rarities of the late 1990s .
