Seiko 5 – the recipe for success: The Seiko 5 line, built since 1963, stands for five core principles – automatic winding, day/date display at 3 o'clock, water-resistant case, protected crown, and a robust case/bracelet concept. The 7S26 caliber is the most produced Seiko automatic movement in recent times and is considered exceptionally durable and uncomplicated.
The highlights of this watch: The silver sunburst dial catches the light in a fine ray pattern and changes from bright silver to matte grey depending on the light. It also features applied, polished baton indices, the characteristic double index at 12, and luminescent material on the hands and indices. The day/date display at 3 o'clock is set in a framed window. The automatic movement can be observed at work through the exhibition case back.
The Movement: The 7S26C caliber is an automatic movement with 21 jewels, 21,600 vibrations/hour, day/date display with quick-set function, and approximately 40 hours of power reserve. It operates with Seiko's "Magic Lever" winding system; due to its design, the 7S26 has neither a seconds stop (hacking) nor manual winding. The watch has been fully inspected by a Japanese watchmaker and runs perfectly; no overhaul has been performed.
About the watch itself: The round stainless steel case is in very good condition. The Hardlex mineral crystal has a small scratch (see detail photo). The exhibition case back reveals the movement; the watch comes on its original Seiko stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp ("SEIKO 5 JAPAN").

Warranty (used)
This is a used watch that has been fully inspected by a Japanese watchmaker (no overhaul). We provide the statutory warranty for used goods of 12 months. Signs of age and wear – including the described small crystal scratch – do not constitute a defect.

This watch is not (or no longer) to be considered waterproof; water resistance is not guaranteed. To protect the movement and bracelet, the watch should not come into contact with water or moisture. Please do not use the quick-set function for day/date between approx. 9 PM and 3 AM, as the date mechanism is sensitive during this time window.
