Seiko (Courrèges) Original Dial Y151-0AC4 (Quartz, blue sunburst) – NOS

Original replacement dial made by Seiko for a Courrèges licensed watch, dial code Y151-0AC4, from the Seiko Service Center Co., Ltd. (Japan). Unused original part (New Old Stock, NOS) in original Seiko "WATCH PARTS" plastic case with label.

The round dial features an attractive deep blue finish with a finely brushed, radial sunburst effect and applied silver baton markers. At 12 o'clock there is a stylized silver "12", to the left of the center the typical "courrèges" signature in lowercase, and the distinctive four-leaf Courrèges flower logo in the center. At the bottom edge is the factory designation "Y151-0AC4 HR1". A pure time-only dial without a date window – fashionable, graphic, very distinctive.

Background: Courrèges × Seiko

André Courrèges is one of the formative French fashion houses and is considered a co-founder of the Space Age look of the 1960s. In the 1980s/1990s – as with many fashion brands – Courrèges wristwatches were produced under license, some of them by Seiko (e.g. in the Alba environment). This dial is a genuine, licensed Seiko original part and combines the reliability of a Seiko quartz movement (Caliber Y151) with the unmistakable design language of the house of Courrèges.
