Seiko Ladies' Watch 2206-0050 Automatic (Japan, September 1974)

This elegant Seiko Automatic 2206-0050 dates from October 1974 , a time when Seiko also offered its automatic movements in smaller, finely proportioned ladies' watches. The model captivates with its fascinating blue metallic sunburst dial , which – depending on the light – shifts from deep midnight blue to bright azure.

The five-faceted mineral crystal creates a unique play of light and accentuates the harmonious shape of the case. The case is made entirely of stainless steel, as is the original Seiko stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp, which is comfortable to wear thanks to its fine link structure.

Inside beats the Caliber 2206A , a robust, finely regulated automatic movement with 17 jewels and a date and day display (bilingual Japanese/English) . The 2206 series was known for its precision and durability and was also used in Seiko's higher-end models.
