Seiko Railway Pocket Watch Quartz 7550-0010 (July 1984)

This historic Seiko railway pocket watch (Ref. 7550-0010) was manufactured in July 1984 at the Suwa Seikosha factory (Nagano, Japan). It was intended for professional use by the Japanese State Railways, specifically the Osaka Railway Bureau (大鉄 – Ōtetsu) , as clearly evidenced by the engraving 「大鉄 HE 0597」 on the case back.

These watches were used as official service watches by Japanese railway workers , especially train conductors, stationmasters, and maintenance personnel. Their robust stainless steel case, high-precision quartz movement, and excellent legibility made them the ideal working instrument for railway operations.

The classic white dial with large Arabic numerals and bold hands ensures excellent readability even under difficult conditions.
