Seiko Lord Matic Special 5206-6020 – Daini Seikosha (October 1970)
Fully revised in September 2025
The Seiko Lord Matic Special 5206-6020 is one of the most technically advanced models in the Lord Matic series and was manufactured by Daini Seikosha in Tokyo in October 1970 .
It belongs to the upscale Lord Matic Special series, which was designed as a bridge between the regular Lord Matic models and the Grand Seiko line.
Equipped with the Calibre 5206A , a high-beat automatic movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour , it combines the advantages of automatic winding with the option of manual winding and a hacking seconds function . This movement is considered one of the most precise automatic movements Daini Seikosha has ever produced.
The stainless steel case displays the characteristic flowing lines of the early 1970s, while the silver sunburst dial with sharp indices and fine dauphine hands conveys a timeless elegance.
The watch was completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and regulated in Japan in September 2025. It runs steadily and accurately, and the date changes precisely at midnight.
