Seiko Leather Strap RS15C18BN 18-16 with Quick Release System 18 mm – smooth cowhide, brown (JDM)

The 18mm version of the smooth brown Seiko cowhide leather – the size in which most Japanese vintage watches of the 1960s and 1970s were built. Double decorative stitching, matte oil finish, open-worked and color-covered cut edge, slightly rounded tip. A strap that doesn't want to stand out and works precisely because of that: on a Lord Matic, a Seikomatic or a King Seiko it looks natural without overpowering the watch.

Especially good for 18 mm is the dominant size of classic Seiko automatics of the 1960s and 1970s: Lord Matic (5606/5601), Seikomatic, Business-A, the early Seiko 5 with 6119 and 7009 calibers, and the 44KS and 45KS generation of King Seiko. Brown goes particularly well with gold-plated cases and warm, champagne-colored dials.
