Classic Seiko Lord Matic (LM) with the automatic caliber 5606 , manufactured in August 1973 at the Suwa Seikosha factory .
This model series represents the upper middle class of Seiko automatic watches of the 1970s and combines precise technology with elegant design.

Historical background

The Lord Matic series was introduced in 1968 as the successor to the Seikomatic series and was positioned in the Japanese market between the Presmatic and King Seiko lines.
The installed caliber 5606 with 25 jewels , stop-seconds function and quick-set date via the crown was considered technically advanced and particularly easy to maintain.

The model shown here Ref. 5606-7270 from the Suwa production (⧫) impresses with its striking two-tone dial with blue-gold sunburst finish , a rare and sought-after version of this series.
The combination of angular stainless steel case, gold-plated minute track and original LM bracelet gives the watch its authentic vintage look.

The strap shows clear signs of wear, but is fully functional and underlines the authenticity of the watch.
