Automatic three-hand watch with a mechanical countdown rotating bezel – inspired by 1970s motorsport.

The Prospex HBC003J1 expands the Speedtimer series with a rare feature: the internal rotating bezel can be adjusted via the second crown at 4 o'clock to measure intervals in motorsport or everyday moments – all without a stopwatch mechanism. This is because this Speedtimer is not a chronograph, but a robust three-hand automatic watch with date and the 6R55 caliber. The light blue, vertically brushed "Powder Blue" dial echoes the look of the legendary 1972 Speedtimer chronograph, while orange accents on the second hand and rehaut ensure instant readability for short measurements. The multi-link stainless steel bracelet ensures high comfort and a secure fit.

Design & Character

The dial is designed for optimal readability and its color scheme is reminiscent of classic sports car cockpits. The stainless steel case with super-hard coating offers high durability, while the domed sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating guarantees a clear view. The internal countdown ring with a LumiBrite luminous triangle makes the watch a functional tool for timing tasks – even in low light.
