For its 145th anniversary, Seiko presents a special Speedtimer edition that focuses on the historic Edo purple hue. This color bridges the cultural roots of old Edo with the creative energy of modern Tokyo. The two-tone aluminum bezel with tachymeter scale is inspired by iconic Speedtimer models from the 1960s and 1970s. Globally limited to 8,000 pieces.

The purple dial features a deep, traditional color scheme that reveals different nuances depending on the light. The tachymeter bezel incorporates historic Speedtimer elements, giving the watch a sporty yet classic character. Domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inside ensures a clear view, while LumiBrite on the hands and indices guarantees optimal readability.
