Original Seiko Replacement Dial Quartz 7830-5040 (Cushion Shape)

Original New Old Stock (NOS) replacement dial for a cushion-shaped Seiko Quartz Dress watch. Marked JAPAN 7830‑5040 T; the corresponding original packaging from Hattori Seiko Co., Ltd. with the imprint 7830 5040 / 8A27 is included.

Silver-colored, square dial with rounded corners and fine matte finish, applied slender baton indices without a date aperture. In the lower third of the dial is the applied Seiko quartz emblem.

Historical Background: In the late 1970s, Seiko consistently integrated the quartz program into the flat, angular case shapes of the time. The cushion-shaped models of these years represent the transition of the quartz watch from an expensive prestige object to an elegant everyday watch.

Condition: Old stock part, unworn. There is a price note in blue ink on the dial from the historical dealer inventory (see photos). This is part of the condition and was deliberately not removed to avoid damaging the dial. The price has been significantly reduced accordingly.

Warranty (used) This is a used item (old stock part / NOS). The limitation period for claims for defects (statutory warranty) is 12 months from delivery. Note This is a spare part from old stock. Storage marks are possible. Installation should only be carried out by a watchmaker. Compatibility must be checked against the reference number before purchase.
