King Seiko 5626-7120 (November 1971) – Suwa Seikosha, Japan

The King Seiko 5626-7120 is one of the outstanding models of the last King Seiko generation, manufactured in the traditional Suwa Seikosha factory . It combines the high technical precision of the automatic Hi-Beat caliber 5626A (28,800 A/h) with the clear, angular design language of the early 1970s, which was influenced by Taro Tanaka's "Grammar of Design".

This watch from November 1971 displays the understated elegance typical of King Seiko: a silver sunburst dial, sharply faceted indices, dauphine hands, and the characteristic double-edged case. The KS logo on the crown indicates its membership in the highest quality tier below the Grand Seiko line.

The watch was completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and regulated in Japan in September 2025. It runs precisely, and the day/date mechanism functions perfectly.
